GolfSay collects almost nothing about you.

What we collect today

The site has no accounts, no forms, no advertising and, at the moment, no analytics. It sets no cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, in local storage, which never leaves your device. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.

Maps and fonts

If you press "Show the map" on the town page, your browser fetches map tiles from OpenFreeMap, which will see your IP address like any website you visit. Nothing loads from them until you ask. Fonts are served from this site.

Analytics later

We may add privacy-friendly analytics to learn which pages help. If we do, it will be configured to avoid cookies and personal profiles, and this page will be updated before it is switched on.

Email

If you write to hello@golfsay.com we use your message to reply and to fix the page, and keep it as long as needed for that. We do not share it. To have it deleted, write to the same address.

Names in quotes

Golfer quotes show the name or handle the reviewer chose to publish on the original site, with a link. To ask us to remove a quote, email us with the page and the quote.
